The Greenbean team is small and flexible. This is a small gourmet coffee company and our culture reflects this fact. Everyone has a different set of roles, but one common role is striving for the highest quality in everything we do. Quality in customer service, quality in management, but most of all, quality in every coffee bean that leaves our roastery

Pat Grant
Managing Director
Pat Grant is the Greenbean Managing Director and our Master Roaster. He’s been sourcing, buying and roasting coffee for more than 21 years and is one of Ireland’s leading coffee experts. He still roasts coffee every week to maintain his roasting expertise. Pat also looks after development, planning and has the ultimate responsibility for the quality of our coffee.

Deirdre Grant
Founding Director
Deirdre Grant started the company in 1985. Deirdre manages the Northern Ireland market and looks after customer service throughout Ireland. She has been in the coffee business for more than 23 years and understands our customers’ needs intuitively. She is also an expert barista trainer and teaches coffee making skills to customers and at our barista masterclasses.

John Phelan
Sales and Marketing Director
John Phelan is responsible for business development, managing the sales team in the Republic of Ireland, and spreading the good word about Greenbean coffee. As John works closely with our customers, he is keenly aware of market conditions and is very quick to identify emerging trends and the opportunities they create for our customers.
