Be wary of harsh chemicals in your coffee machine

I’ve recently come across a promotion in one of the industry magazines. A chemicals company is selling cleaning products to remove coffee residues from brewers. Now, this can mean filter-drip or even espresso machines but, BE ADVISED, if you do not use the proper cleaners you could quite possibly get a nasty “chemical” taste to your coffees. Coupled with abrasive elements in the formula you might also end up with a damaged machine. Only ever buy cleaning powders and liquids from your friendly coffee roaster. We wont put you wrong!
